ECED 3511: Communication Systems
This class is concerned with techniques for communicating using continuous time/continuous amplitude signals. The mathematical fundamentals of the fourier series and transform are reviewed. The principles of communications with analog waveforms are covered, in particular basic forms of amplitude modulation and their demodulation techniques and implementation. The sampling theorem and its relevance to digital communications is discussed, and basic common digital signaling formats are introduced.
