Communications Theory

What is Communications Theory

Communications Theory is the underlying science of all modern communications systems, it encompasses transmission, modulation, error correction coding, statistical channel modelling and so much more.

Why are we Interested

A strong scientific and mathematical background is crucial for development of algorithms which  are capable of approaching and even achieving the channel capacity in any transmission scenario.

How are we Contributing

The team at UMDCC is working on the fundamental problems related to the field of wireless communications with a strong focus on statistical channel modelling, iterative information processing, and advanced modulation and coding techniques.
